Why Am I Still Carrying This?

Sat January 3rd. Tonight is the Wolf Supermoon. 2026's first full moon. Wolf Moon - Full Moon in Cancer
This one lands in the emotional body. Not in a soft, floaty way.
More in a “why am I still carrying this?” kind of way.
Cancer energy brings attention to safety, the nervous system, and the ways we learned to stay connected when things didn’t feel secure. The bracing. The guarding. The things we never said because staying quiet felt safer than risking the connection.
This Wolf Moon isn’t here to create drama. It’s here to recalibrate connection, communication and resilience.
Where have you been holding it all together so others don’t feel uncomfortable?
Where has your communication become careful instead of clear?
Where has resilience slowly turned into tension rather than strength?
A lot of what lives in the body ended up there because it was never voiced.
Emotions swallowed.
Needs left unspoken.
Boundaries softened just to keep the peace.
This isn’t about forcing conversations or trying to be more resilient. And it’s definitely not about fixing yourself.
It’s about easing the grip. Letting the nervous system step out of defence.
So communication comes from regulation, not reaction.
So connection can be real, not managed.
So resilience becomes flexibility, not endurance.
Place a hand on your chest or your belly. Slow your breath.
And ask gently, without overthinking: What am I ready to let go of now so I can connect and communicate more honestly?
Whatever comes up is information to work with, not a problem.
Real connection doesn’t come from holding everything together. It comes from being regulated enough to be real.
The Wolf Moon isn’t asking you to become someone else. It’s reminding you how to come back to yourself and speak from there.
