One Hundred... One Million...

Today marks a bit of a milestone for me.
100 weeks alcohol-free.
1,000,000 minutes – ONE MILLION! BOOM!
I’d actually stopped counting, but my app pinged me this morning and it felt like a moment worth acknowledging.
This isn’t a preachy post. I simply decided to try life without alcohol, and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
I don’t miss it.
I’m still social.
And I’ve realised I don’t need a drink to relax, connect, or have a good time.
What I have found is this:
Life gets a lot quieter in the best possible way.
Less frantic.
Less drama.
Fewer sore heads.
More clarity.
More connection with self and others.
And strangely or maybe not, new friendships, opportunities, and paths start to open up.
If anyone is thinking about trying the AF life, or even just cutting down, there’s a new 100-day challenge starting on 1st January. Everyone is welcome. No judgement, just support, kindness, and a community of people who are curious or already on the journey.
I’ve watched lives transform in that group. Some joined because they knew they were relying on alcohol more than they wanted to. Others just wanted a change. Either way, choosing not to drink has been genuinely life changing for me and many more.
HAPPY AF x
